1. Introduction
Welcome to SharedAccessBridge ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our yacht charter services and website located at sharedaccessbridge.top (the "Service") operated by SharedAccessBridge.
By booking a charter or accessing our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
SharedAccessBridge offers a range of high-end yacht charter services including:
- Chartering of yachts for a day
- Evening boat tours
- Company offsite meetings
- Private gatherings
- Extended yacht excursions
Our services are subject to availability and prevailing weather conditions. We hold the right to alter or cancel our services at any given time.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
For booking a charter, you must:
- Be above the age of 18
- Provide valid and complete details
- Make a payment for the requested advance as outlined in your booking confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Confirmation of your booking occurs only after the payment is made and you receive our formal confirmation. We have the discretion to decline service to anyone.
3.3 Availability
Bookings depend on the availability of vessels and favorable weather conditions. We endeavor to meet your preferred scheduling requests whenever possible.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All mentioned costs are in € and they include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change with no prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: Half of the total cost of the charter is due upon booking
- Final payment: Due 2 days before the charter sets sail
- Other charges (if applicable): Payable at the end of the charter
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept most major credit cards, electronic fund transfers, and bank-certified checks. Our payment processing uses secure and encrypted systems.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- If canceled more than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus transaction charges
- If canceled between 24 to 72 hours before departure: A refund of 50% will be granted
- If canceled less than 24 hours ahead of departure: No refund will be provided
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In case the captain deems the weather conditions to be unsafe, we will offer to:
- Reschedule your charter to another available date at no additional charge
- Issue a full refund should rescheduling prove impractical
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In case of mechanical issues with the designated vessel, we will strive to provide a similar alternative. If a substitution isn't possible, a complete refund will be offered.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All passengers are required to:
- Heed all instructions from the crew
- Don the provided safety gear as necessary
- Disclose any medical conditions affecting their safety
- Stay within specified areas on the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted onboard:
- Breakable containers
- Controlled substances
- Guns or other weaponry
- An excessive volume of beverages that could affect safety
- Animals (unless they are pre-authorized)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. We reserve the right to terminate a charter without a refund if passenger behavior endangers safety or affects other guests negatively.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our financial responsibility is confined to the charter cost paid by you. We are not liable for:
- Injuries caused by a passenger's carelessness
- Destruction or loss of personal belongings
- Secondary, consequential, or punitive losses
- Delays due to weather or situations out of our command
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Our vessels and operations are protected by comprehensive maritime insurance. Passengers should obtain their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Engaging in our yacht services implies that you recognize the natural hazards involved and that you take on the responsibility for your safety and welfare.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
Itineraries, paths, or schedules may be modified by us due to conditions like weather, safety, or operational needs. We will make efforts to ensure alternative experiences of equivalent value.
9. Force Majeure
We are exempt from liability for any delays, cancellations, or changes caused by force majeure events, not limited to:
- Extreme weather scenarios
- Natural calamities
- Regulatory acts
- Port disruptions
- Technical malfunctions
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in alignment with our Privacy Policy. By using our Service, you consent to the gathering and usage of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
The content presented on our website, including written text, imagery, symbols, and graphics, is shielded by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or the creation of derivatives is not permitted without our express consent.
